This change will be in affect starting with Hach WIMS Client release version 7.5.0.

Symptoms: Trying to print Spread Reports that one had multiple sheets and another had multiple pages. Sometimes the first sheet would print but not the others, and other times got the error message:

Set paper size error - 484 Problem getting printer information from the system

Solution: If you experience this kind of difficulty printing Spread Reports (or something similar) through terminal services or remote desktop connection, using redirected printers; this option may resolve your problem. Add the following two options to the Hach_WIMS_Client.INI file to enable terminal services printing.

TERMINALSERVICE_PRINT=YES
TERMINALSERVICE_DEFAULTPAPERSIZE=1

Enter the number for Default Paper Size from the chart below. If the server cannot recognize the printer you are trying to use, or cannot read its' configuration, the paper size will default to this value. In our example of '1', we are saying default to 8.5 x 11 in. paper size. Not all printers support all paper sizes, so consult your printers manual for more details on its' capabilities.

TERMINALSERVICE_PRINT
(Optional, Default = No)

When set to 'Yes', this will set up key areas suspected of causing problems when trying to print reports through terminal services redirection printing. It will cause a 2 second delay between sheets in multi-sheet reports. (This option will be available in Hach WIMS Client version 7.5.0)

TERMINALSERVICE_DEFAULTPAPERSIZE
(Optional, Default = 1)

Specifies the default paper size for when using TERMINALSERVICE_PRINT. In the event the server cannot reach out to get the paper size from the client printer, the paper size will default to this value. Consult the KB article Q14 for more details on paper sizes. (This option will be available in Hach WIMS Client version 7.5.0)
