Q11150 - INFO: Create One-Time Sample
 
Used to create a single sample.         

USING:

Choose your Sample Name from the list of defined samples.  If this is an ad-hoc sample, choose One-Time and use the  button to add in your Test/Variable Pairs.  Click Add and the sample will be placed on the calendar.  You can add additional samples by choosing the sample/tests and clicking Add again.  When you are finished adding samples click Done to close the form. 

 

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS

Sample Name:  The name of the sample.

Sample Number:  Leave Auto Generate checked and Lab Cal will create the Sample Number  for you.  If you need to track the sample number from an external lab, uncheck the box and you will be prompted for a unique sample number:

Sample Type: Sets the Sample Type for the sample.

Scheduled for collection on: Sets the scheduled collection date/time.

Location:  Samples can be assigned to a location.  Assigning samples to a location allows you to browse for samples by location, filter the calendar... 

BUTTONS

Displays a form to select the test and variable.
Removes the currently selected tests from the sample
Creates the Sample and places it on the calendar.  Form stays open allowing you to create additional samples.
Closes the form.

TABS

Used to add Test/Variable pairs to the sample.                               
Enter Comments on the Sample.
Enter User Defined Information.
