Q10501 - INFO: Concurrent Users

Concurrent Users, sometimes also referred to as Concurrent Connections, are defined as connections from WIMS (OPS SQL) Client to the WIMS Database Server occurring simultaneously (at the same exact time).

This definition is important for WIMS Licensing.

EXAMPLE:

The WIMS Client is installed on 4 computers and your license allows a max of 2 concurrent users.  If 2 people are currently running the WIMS Client (i.e. logged in) on their PCs and a third person attempts to start WIMS they will recieve the following message:

Hach WIMS cannot connect at the current moment.

Your product license allows for a maximum of 2 of concurrent connections.
Click 'Yes' to view who is connected, or 'No' to end Hach WIMS.
