The ADO Calc engine is an NT Service that monitors the OPS databases and calculates data as requested by the OPS SQL Client (i.e. when user clicks the Calc button on Monthly Data Entry, etc...), GNR Server (as a scheduled task), or by OPS SQL Interfaces.  Calculated data is then availiable for reports, graphs, etc…  ADO Calc should be placed on a powerful PC that is close to the Server.  NOTE:  ADO Calc can run on the server, which will reduce network traffic and improve system performance.
