Q11422 - INFO: Minutely Variable

Used to link Minutely Variables to cells for data entry.

USING:

Choose your minutely variable and the max number of entries you will make for a day.   Unlike other variables on a CDE form, minutely variables MUST be linked to a cell where the time for the entry is entered(set in Time Edit Options).  Click OK and the entry slots will be placed on the form and linked to the variable.  You can that set the default times for the entries by simply editing the time in the linked Time Edit cells.

FIELDS:

Variable:  A variable picker used to set minutely variable to locate.

Number of entry cell to create:  Sets the number of entries that you may need to enter for the variable for a day.

Format:  Displays Format for the currently selected variable.

Create associated time cell beside data:  If selected Time Entry cells will be located right beside the data entry cells created.

Link Entry to Time Cells in Column:  If selected, you can choose the column that already contains time entry cells that you want these entry cells linked to.

BUTTONS:

Locates the entry cells and closes the form.

Closes the form.

EXAMPLES:

If you have a variable that you track twice a day but if the number is above a limit you have to take a second reading right after the first you need a minutely variable to be able to enter all data points.  You can use Custom Data Entry to have an entry form with 4 slots to enter the data.
