The Hach WIMS Indirect Server-Side Interface to Rockwell FactoryTalk SE transfers summarized values from the FactoryTalk archive database to Hach WIMS DBMS. FactoryTalk must log real time data to an MS SQL database in uncompressed fashion. Data is read from the FactoryTalk database, summarized based upon the user specified statistic, and the resulting value is placed into the Hach WIMS database.

Being an indirect interface allows you to export data from the FactoryTalk computer system into XML files, move the files to the Hach WIMS environment, and summarizing the data into Hach WIMS DBMS for viewing and reporting.

This interface expects FactoryTalk default settings for the database tables as shown below:

The Database Tables are normally stored in the master Database.
