The interface browser allows you to select from a list of Hyper Historian Tags when using Edit/View Variables to setup the interface.

Setup:

1. Configure your Connection to Hach WIMS.

2. Set your Collector Configuration

3. Open Source Configuration and set your connection string to your Hyper Historian.

4. Click the   (Gen Tags) button. 

Tech Note: This will create a table in your WIMS OPSROOT G2_Q14397_X_TAGS.  X will be set to the G2_INTERFACE_ID (the unique ID of this instance of the interface).  It will then load the table with the list of Tags using the query SELECT * FROM TAGS.  If the table already exists, this button will erase all records in the existing table and reload the list of tags. 

Using:

1. From the Hach WIMS client main menu, click on System Setup > View/Edit Variables and click on the Interface tab.

2. Click the ? button next to the Tag. 

3. The browser will be displayed.  Use quick search to filter the list of tags displayed.  Click on Column headers to sort by that field.  Select a row and click OK to populate the SCADA Tag field. 

NOTE: Units field is not provided in the Hyper Historian Tag table and therefore will always be blank.
