Q12385 - HOWTO: Using Inteface Browser Q12392

The browser can be used to select the SAMPLE_USERID values for the variable. To successfully pull date from the source database, you will also have to supply the COMPONENT value manually (the browser cannot be used for that)

In each of the following scenarios, you may click on a column heading to sort the list by that column's entries. In each case, the correct value is returned to the Hach WIMS variable's Interface setup.

When browsing for the USER_SAMPLEID value (which goes into the WIMS variable's LIMS_TEST column), the following screen will be shown:

Choose the item you want and double-click it or click OK

When browsing for Sample Type (the third field in Variable Setup) the following screen will show:

Choose the item you want and double-click it or click OK

Shortcut Buttons

button will send the selected tag name back to the Hach WIMS client.
button will cancel selecting a tag.
button will allow user to find a specific tag or series of tags.
button will bring up help information about the interface and specifically the browser.
button will exit the browser without making a tag selection.
