Q10214 - HOWTO: New sample is not ceated when clicking on New Sample

When I click on the New Sample button on the Login Edit form nothing happens, or I get the error message that the Lab# table is locked.

Version 7.x and 6.x

If someone was creating a new sample and the system crashed a lock remains in the Lab# table. To clear these locks select Clear Table Locks from the Maintenance Menu option. From the drop down list select to unlock the Lab# table.

Version 5.x, 4.x, 3.5 & Conifer³²

If someone was creating a new sample and the system crashed a lock remains in the Lab# table To clear this lock open program.mdb (holding down the shift key) and open the Lab# table. Uncheck the box Locked and remove the persons name in the LockedBy column. Exit the database and resume operations as normal.
