The Hach WIMS Direct Server-Side Interface to Custom Q12849 imports summarized values into Hach WIMS. The source data comes from CSV files created by a custom WonderWare InTouch script. If DDE utilities just cannot work, and you create a script in WonderWare InTouch to export your data to CSV files, following the description below, then it is possible to use this interface to import data.

The CSV files are summarized by the interface and imported it into Hach WIMS database. The data summarized is taken as is, not interpolated or filled. If all data points are missing for the period requested, nothing is imported. For example, the sample data we used, had data points every 10 minutes. If the variable in Hach WIMS client is set up as a 5 minute variable, it will only get every other 5-minute datapoint.
