Q12774 - INFO: Source versions tested

The WonderWare Historian (Formerly InSQL) resides in a database management system such as Microsoft SQL Server. The collector of this interface will collect data from a configured view. This will be either History (default), v_AnalogHistory, and/or v_DiscreteHistory - as shown below.

Tag names and their data will be available from anyone of those three views. The Node-Tag format in Hach WIMS Client will be "[View].TagName". For example, EFF_FLOW from Historian would be shown as [Historian].EFF_FLOW in the Hach WIMS Client.

Using any other table or view may result in unknown behavior of the Hach system. This interface was tested against WonderWare 7.x and 8.x systems, and has been implemented on a WonderWare 9.x system.
