  • The Email Gateway now opens/closes the SMTP connection everytime a message is sent.  This helps whe Antivirus proxies intercept traffic on port 25.

Version 1.2.0 (Released on 3/21/2005)

  • New INI setting added : KEEPLOGSFOR
  • GNR will now automatically maintain its LOG directory's size by removing log files older than the number of days specified in the KEEPLOGSFOR setting. If this setting does not exist in GNR.INI, GNR will assume 1000 for the value of the setting. That is also the upper bound for the setting. The lower bound is 7.

Version 1.1.0 (Released on 12/2/2004)

  • GNR server is now capable of producing reports and graphs in PDF format.

Version 1.0.8 (Released on 9/10/2004)

Version 1.0.7 (Released on 5/12/2004)

  • Added new GNR.INI setting : SMTPCONNECTATTEMPTS. Default is 50. If GNRMailer cannot establish a connection to the provided SMTP server, it will keep trying for SMTPCONNECTATTEMPTS times. There are 10 second pauses between attempts. 
  • Added new GNR.INI setting : FORCEMAILFROM. Default is 0. If this setting is 1, GNRMailer will use the email address provided via the MAILFROM setting in all its outgoing email messages.

Version 1.0.6 (Released on 4/16/2004)

  • Added new GNR.INI setting : MESSAGERELAYATTEMPTS. Default is 10. GNRMailer will attempt to dispatch a single message MESSAGERELAYATTEMPTS times. If it does not succeed, that particular message will be removed from queue and GNRMailer will continue relaying other messages.
