The WIMS-Rio Sync service logs info, warnings, etc... to Data Studio when connected to Rio.  Otherwise, log files are placed in the Logs folder where the sync service is installed (C:\Program Files\Aquatic Informatics\WIMS to Rio Synchronization Utilities\SyncService\Logs).

In Data Studio:

1. Click Audit Log

2. Click on your service.  This shows the general summary of each run. 

3. Click on a log message to see more details. 

Tech Note: SyncType 0=None, 1=Aborted, 2=CheckConfig, 3=SyncData, 4=Both (CheckConfig and SyncData).

Logs are also created for each Operation/Database. 

1. Click the Operation

2. Message "Saved 1 cells to WIMS, 2 cells to Rio" shows number of data points moved.

3. Message "Target WIMS variable Predicted BOD (109) is calculated, data will not be synced".  This means, data was entered in Rio but the WIMS variable is calculated so the data was NOT synced.
