When running JOB Plus/Cal or Ops32 a Windows Installer Message Pops Up at various times (see Installer error.bmp attachment). These messages pop up all over and take quite awhile to dissappear even if you click Cancel. I'm not sure what exactly is causing the problem so the following is a temporary solution until we come up with a definitive solution.

Click on Start button and click on Run. Type in services.msc or go to the control panel/Administrative Tools/Services. Right click on the service called Windows Installer and click on Properties. On the General Tab set the startup type to Disabled, then click OK. The message will still pop up but for only a fraction of a second instead of taking 20 to 40 seconds like it did before. If the user needs to install a program in the future they will probably need to change the Windows Installer service startup type back to Manual.
