The Hach WIMS components are split into two main categories - Client Components and Server Components.
Hach WIMS is a client-server application. The Hach WIMS Server is defined to be the computer that hosts the Hach WIMS database containg all data and, usually, the Hach WIMS Services.
The Hach WIMS Client Components can be installed on mulitple computers and is the main program users interact with.
Besides a database, Hach WIMS also uses a number of services that run in the background. These services are used to perform calculations, generate reports, send emails, perform backups, etc.
This is where you decide whether you're installing one or more client components, and/or one or more services.
