Q14404 - INFO: Installing the Iconics Hyper Historian OLE DB Provider

The Hyper Historian OLE DB provider is installed from the Iconics Hyper Historian DVD.  To check if the driver is installed create a UDL file and open it with OLE DB Core Services program (typically you can double click on a .udl file and it will open with OLE DB Core Services).

Note: In order to view 32 bit providers in 64 bit operating systems, run the following from the command prompt:

C:\Windows\syswow64\rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\Ole DB\oledb32.dll",OpenDSLFile C:\HachWIMS\hh.udl

If the ICONICS HyperHistorian SQL Query Engine is listed, the provider is installed.  If the provider is not installed, run the Hyper Historian Installer.
