The following error message :
Access not allowed per Labcal Licensing Setup
The current facility is not on the list of facilites with Labcal Licensing
Use System Setup/System Tables/Entire System/Labcal Licensing Setup to configure licensing list
appears when Labcal Licensing Setup is configured to disallow access to current facility.
Note: In Labcal Licensing Setup if it lists Total Licenses as 0, there are a couple possibilities.
1. The license does not have any Labcal licensing.
2. The license is a license2008 license. You will need to get a new license generated for WIMS version 7.1.X and newer.
You can tell that a license is a 2008 license because the following line with NOT be found:
<InventoryItemMetadataItem><ItemID>13119</ItemID><Metadata>2010 Rule Set</Metadata></InventoryItemMetadataItem>
3. The license was incorrectly generated.
Example A. License incorrectly has a LabCal Grandfather 2008 tag listed below.
Open up the "license file" with the opssql2008 file extension in notepad and look for the following line:
<InventoryItemMetadataItem><ItemID>13120</ItemID><Metadata>LabCal Grandfather 2008</Metadata></InventoryItemMetadataItem>
If this line is located in the license file, it will not allow Labcal facilities to be assigned. Contact support to get a repaired license file.
Example B. License was incorrectly has "all facilities labcal" enabled. If this license is used you will not find labcal under Data Manager and you will not find System Setup > System Tables > Entire System > Labcal Licensing Setup available.
Open up the "license file" with the opssql2008 file extension in notepad and look for the following line:
<InventoryItemMetadataItem><ItemID>11089</ItemID><Metadata>Lab Cal</Metadata></InventoryItemMetadataItem>
If this line is located in the license file you must contact support to get a new license generated
