Edit/View Variables - Equation Tab is used to setup the formulas/equations for calculated variables.

Equations for calculated variables are entered on the fields provided on the Equation Tab.  This section is only enabled for Calculated variables. Historical Equations can be used when a variable's equation must be changed.

Equations may be comprised of virtually any combination of standard operators, relational operators, references to other variables, constants, and functions.  All of the available operators and functions are listed and described in the Math ToolBox.  Examples are provided by clicking on underlined green text associated with each function.

Enter the equation in the top text box. The equation will be translated for you into the lower text box (Variables are referenced in the equation by using their variable numbers and the translated equation displays the variables by their Names).
