You can schedule the External Data Source Import to run automatically if you are licensed for GNR Server.

To setup a Import Schedule:

1.  Go to System Setup, Scheduled Tasks

2. Click

3. Enter in a Task Description and enter the Run against facility:

4. Enter a Schedule.  The following sets up the task to run every day at 22:01 (10:01 PM):

5. Set the What to Do? To RUN IMPORT OF EXTERNAL SOURCES and set the date range:

Note: “30 DAYS 3 DAYS AGO” specifies that the Import will get data for Today  33 days thru Today  3 days.  IE if this is run on Feb 5th 2007 10:01 PM it will get data for Jan 2nd thru Feb 1st .  This allows the data to be input into the external system (Job Plus) before it is imported.

6. Select the Variables.  You can either import ALL VARIABLES IN THIS FACILITY or Select certain variables.  Please note, if you need to import data for multiple facilities you will need to create a separate task for each facility.
