Q13650 - HOWTO: Supported variable configurations for interface Q13643

One variable MUST be cross referenced (linked) to the Utility for each facility that needs to push data to the LIMS table. This variable can be cross referenced to statistics that the utility returns.

Example:

Return Type: Required, must be set to UTILITY. This field tells the utility to return a value from the run of the utility.

Statistic: Required. The utility can return the COUNT of records written to the LIMS Tables (OMD_TBL). At this time, COUNT is the only statistic supported.

The Utility pushes data requests for Variables with the Additional Info field LIMS_TABLE_NM filled out (i.e. not null).

Additional Info Field Definitions:

LIMS_COLUMN_NM:  The field to store the result in.

LIMS_CONVERSION_FACTOR_NUM: A numeric value that is used to convert the WIMS value (CURVALUE) before storing the value in the LIMS Tables.

Result Stored = ROUND(DATATBL.CURVALUE / LIMS_CONVERSION_FACTOR_NUM, LIMS_DECIMAL_PLACES_NUM)

LIMS_DECIMAL_PLACES_NUM: The number of decimal places to round the Result to as shown in equation above.

LIMS_PT_GROUP:  Only used when pushing data to the OMD_TBL and will populate the OMD_TBL.PT_GROUP field.

LIMS_TABLE_NM: The table to store the result in.  The following tables are supported:

L_DIGESTERS
OMD_TBL
OP_ALLFLOWS
OP_CHEMICALS
OP_COMMENTS
OP_DIGESTERS

LIMS_TS_VARID:  The Utility will write the associated TS value in the same record.  It will write the value (CURVALUE) for the variable with the VARID equal to the LIMS_TS_VARID into the OMD_TBL.TS_VALUE field.  Leave blank or set to -1 to disable writing to the TS_VALUE field.  ONLY USED when the LIMS_TABLE_NM = OMD_TBL.
