Facility Setting: Show Thousand Separator in Data Entry forms controls display of the "," in numeric entries when entering data (i.e. 1,234.5 vs 1234.5)

This setting can be set in  Facility Setup on the settings tab using the Show Thousand Separator in Data Entry.

NOTE:  This setting DOES NOT effect the display of variables with Allow Symbol on.
