The Interface uses a Collector (Q12500) that resides on the same machine as iFIX. The Collector exports data from iFIX into OPSDATAXML files that will be read by the Interface (which can reside on a seperate machine). The Collector generates one of these files every hour and contains 60 data point for each tag that is being exported.

In this example, the Hach WIMS collector for GE iFIX (Q12500) would be configured to point to C:\Dynamics\HTRDATA and the node would be BRIDGE or SCADA or one of the other sub-directories. The file extension in this case is H24 meaning these are 24 hour files. GE iFIX can also produce H04 and H08 files, meaning 4 hour and 8 hour files respectively.
