This is a description of what this interface is expecting from the source database table. The source table is not a standard table from LabVantage but is created from a database trigger.

The following depicts the definition of the database table u_transfer used in modeling this interface.

 

The following picture shows the location of the values from the LabVantage Saphhire data tables:

The interface will read in all fields, but is most concerned with specific fields as shown below:

u_transferid - This is a unique identifier, each data point has a different u-transferid. The interface uses this field to locate the record that it needs to write the 'Y' in processed field.

createdt - All query are based on date ranges, whether the interface runs interactively or as a NT service. The date range is compared to this field. This date is the date and time that the data point was written to this table.

datecollected - This is the date and time the sample was actually collected.

locationid - This is the first part of a set that cross references Hach WIMS variables to source data points.

paramid - This is the second part of the set that cross references Hach WIMS variables to source data points.

result - This is the value returned from LabVantage Sapphire system for the specified location and parameter ID's

u_sampletype - This is used to better define source data points. This is an optional third part of the set to cross references Hach WIMS variables to source data points and can be left blank, or can be of a specific value. Some examples are RAW and COMPOSITE, but can be any value that appears in this column.

processed -This is the field that the interface writes a 'Y' in if it needs to. In the section Configuration - Source Configuration it shows how to set up the interface to write the 'Y' to this field and to ignore this field if needed. By default, the interface will only write a 'Y' to this field when running as a NT Service and values will only be returned if this field is blank. This can be changed to never write a 'Y' or always write a 'Y', and to ignore the 'Y' or not ignore it.

 

Other fields imported include:

status - This is the status of the sample, sample data tested shows RAW and FINAL

notes - These are notes appended to the sample

testnotes -These are test notes appended to the sample
