Q13514 Interface

This interface pulls data from a Citect database into WIMS. It attaches directly to the Citect Oracle database (only Oracle is supported) and based on variable setup in WIMS pulls data over on a configurable periodic basis.

Menu Overview:

If you click at the first menu item, Configuration, you will see several sub-menus. The top 4 are the ones you will use the most often.

1. Connection to hach WIMS: will allow you to enter data to allow the interface to connect to Hach WIMS and get variable information and add data when the interface is running.
   
2. Collector Configuration: This is where you select the used interface version from WIMS. Then when the interface runs it knows to select the variables that have this interface associated with it.
   
3. Source Configuration: Here is where you enter the data to allow the interface to connect to the Oracle Citect database.

4. Automated Import Configuration: This is where you tell the interface how often and when to run while in automatic mode.
