The Hach WIMS Direct Server-Side Interface to Lab Excel EDD Files reads labortory results from Excel (.XLS) files and imports the values into Hach WIMS variables. The files must be .xls (Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Worksheet file) files and have columns that identify the Location, Analyte, SampleDate/Time, and Result. This interface will attempt to process all files in the folder specified in the configuration. The input file is copied to a local 'cache' folder and processed. Once finished it moves the file to an 'archive' folder with a date and time stamp added to the file name.

Using Source Configuration, you specify which columns contain the Location, Analyte, Result, Sample Date/Time.  In the example shown below, the location is specified in column 2 (B) the locator column.
