CCPP math toolbox equation returns a water stability index (Calcium Carbonate Precipitation Potential) given a pH, Alkalinity, Calcium, and Water Temperature (Deg C) in mg/L CaCO3. CCPP is the calculated mass of calcium carbonate expected to precipitate or be dissolved by particular water. Used (along with other corrosivity indexes such as LSI) to assist in chemical dosing to ensure water in the distribution system will not corrode metal or dissolve contrete pipes.

where :
pH : A variable reference (V) or constant for the pH
Alkalinity: A variable reference (V) or constant for the Alkalinity (mg/L)
Calcium: A variable reference (V) or constant for the Calcium (mg/L)
DegC: A variable reference (V) or constant for the water temperature (deg C)
NOTES:
Values for pH can only be 6 to 10. Values outside that range return no result.
