This facility setting controls how conditional formatting is applied on CDE forms.

Use Facility Setup, settings tab and pick an option from the "Default Auto Conditional Formatting in CDE" list. 

On - As data is changed conditional formatting is automatically updated.

Off - Conditional formatting is applied when the Refresh Conditional Format button is clicked or the form is saved. 

When using simple CDE forms, you can leave this option on.  However, some complex forms with conditional formatting cause WIMS to lock up.  If this is the case, you would turn this option off and manually apply the conditional format using the button.
