Logbook User Defined Fields Read Only Facility Setting controls whether the Logbook Entry User Defined Fields are Read-only.  By Default the User Defined fields are editable by any user that has rights to the logbook. 

Users may want to set the User Defined Fields to Read-Only when using Rio exclusively to enter logbook notes and set Rio tags to the UD fields in WIMS.  This setting also disables the User Defined browse for value buttons and disables the ability to rename the label (prompt) for the user defined field.

This setting can be set in Facility Setup on the Settings tab using Logbook User Defined Fields Read Only
