OPS SQLTM - How It Works
OPS SQL stores data in variables. A variable can represent any data that you want to track. Whether this is dosages, flows, concetration, loading, or "ducks on the pond", OPS SQL is happy to store your information and put it at your fingertips. Typically, variables get populated with data from the following sources:
|
- HAND ENTRY Numerous entry forms can be designed to match your daily log sheets. Each end user can have their own set of entry forms.
- SCADA Batch interfaces pull data from historians/hmi servers and summarize it according to use specified criteria. We STORE the summarized data (such as daily average flow, 15 minute turbidity maximum, hourly Dissolved Oxygen minimum,..)
- LIMS Batch interfaces pull data from numerous Laboratory/LIMS software packages. Each variable can specify how to handle data qualifiers (such as <,>,ND,E,...) for reporting and calculations
- CALCULATIONS The OPS SQL calculation engine continously calculates data based on user specified formulas. Results are stored in variables. We have over 100 industry specific formulas to help you calculate whatever you are interested in tracking.

When outputing data as Reports and Graphs, users do not need to care where the data originally came from. All data is in the same format and ALWAYS available. LAB/SCADA/calculated and hand-entered data can be combined and output effortlessly.
